Description
The Chaise Longue 1041 by MDF Italia is made of soft spotted pony hair. The armchair has a black leather headrest and a Mannesman tubular structure with a chrome finish, covered in leather and spotted pony hair. In excellent condition, the chaise longue has been used mainly as a decorative object, showing a refined and exclusive design. The series to which it belongs is one of the rarest and most valuable creations, with a direct reference to the work of the great masters of twentieth-century design, including Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand, who designed the original in 1929. MDF Italia, a famous Cassina subcontractor, distributed high-quality pieces throughout Europe, until it was acquired by Cassina Holding in 2013. The LC4 was part of the MDF Italia catalogue with the code 1401, found on pages 59, 60 and 61. The dimensions of this armchair are L. 60 cm x D. 160 cm x H. 65 cm, with a seat height of 40 cm
