This is an original Art Nouveau coat rack from 1910. It is believed to have been produced by the Thonet Company in one of its Czech factories in the former Hungarian Empire. It is listed in various Thonet product catalogues as coat rack Model No. 1. This coat rack is designed in the ornamental Art Nouveau style and perfectly combines the organic, curling forms of Art Nouveau with the bentwood technology of the Thonet brand. It is in excellent condition and has the following dimensions 29 x 99 x 29 (H x W x D).
