Description
Cylindrical citrus cutter, no longer in production, has never been used and is sold in perfect condition in a single original vintage package. Citrus cutter is part of the cylindrical bar collection designed in 1969 by Franco Bettonica - studio OPI milano - for Cini&Nils and acquired by the permanent collection of the Moma in New York. The piece for sale is prized for the excellent condition of the original single package, among the rarest to have arrived intact to the present day. It is a tool suitable for cutting peels, slices and segments of citrus fruits. A special notch, obtained in the cylindrical handle, allows you to direct the cut with absolute precision. Thanks to the rounded tip, it is also useful for evenly spreading butter, anchovy paste, caviar, etc. Made entirely of stainless steel, the handle is brushed longitudinally while the recess, blade and terminal are mirror polished. The original vintage cardboard case is printed in two colors.
