Ilios glass floor lamp with rods (black)

Ilios, designed and produced by Ingo Maurer in 1983 is a magnificent floor lamp whose inspiration comes from the uniqueness and singularity of the moon. It is in fact an innovative floor lamp composed of an opal glass sphere, suspended and held in balance between two metal rods. The sphere is illuminated by the light bulb inside, reminiscent of the lunar satellite. In the center of the solid steel base there are 2 metal rods joined to the base and then separated by a red element. The floor lamp is complete with transformer with dimmer for intensity regulation.
