The Cubo Sfera model table lamp was designed by Alessandro Mendini in the 60s, produced in 1969. Having graduated in Architecture at the Polytechnic of Milan in 1959, from the end of the seventies he was among the innovators of Italian design, both as a theoretical intellectual and as an authoritative member of the Alchimia group. The Cubo Sfera lamp, with its geometric and minimalist design, reflects Mendini's innovative approach, combining a cube structure with an illuminating sphere. This piece not only offers elegant and functional light, but also embodies the author's early explorations towards a synthesis between aesthetics and design theory.
