Description
The LC1 armchair by MDF Italia, designed by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand in 1929, is a rare and very high quality piece from the "Great Masters of 20th Century Design" series. Made with a Mannesmann-type chromed steel frame, black leather armrests and a seat and backrest in soft spotted pony hair, this armchair is in excellent condition, with minimal, almost invisible signs of use. It has been used exclusively as a collector's item and kept with the utmost care. MDF Italia, which produced this series for Cassina, was acquired by the Cassina holding in 2013.
