It is an original Limited Edition of only 500 pieces (N. 485/500) made of polychrome plastic laminated wood. A modern and vintage style furniture with a great historical value. Memphis was an iconic artistic movement founded by Ettore Sottsass and active in Italy in the 80s of the twentieth century, characterized by bright colors and geometric shapes. Nathalie Du Pasquier, Marco Zanuso and Karim Rashid are just some of the designers who have participated in it. The name Memphis was born as a reference to the ancient capital of the Egyptian pharaohs and the birthplace of Aretha Franklin and Elvis Presley in Tennessee.
