Description
Very elegant Italian Art Deco Mid-Century Modern dry bar cabinet, in beautiful veneer walnut briar burl wood, two doors with amazing interior part in mirrors mosaic and antique brass handles. The unique and typical design and shapes make this a true statement piece in any interior style. The internal mirrors have small parts oxidized, that we thought not to replace to have a 100% original cabinet. The veneer is in outstanding condition but has some imperfections due to age.
The Art Deco style, that preceded Hollywood Regency and thereafter Mid-Century Modern, is all about making a big statement and was considered very glamorous, elegant, functional, and modern. Softly shaped patterns and smooth angles with the generous use of gold, glass, mirror and a variety of expensive and exotic materials. In the style of Gugliemo Ulrich and Vittorio Dassi, that inspired the Italian Mid-Century Modern designers of that years such as Gio Ponti, Melchiorre Bega, Paolo Buffa and Luisa and Ico Parisi.
