Description
Important beautiful and elegant oval wall mirror from the Baroque period, 1750. Made entirely of carved wood and gilded with gold leaf. The rich carving decoration with volutes and acanthus leaves that curl up on the front is called a cartoccio. The mirror is ancient coeval with mercury and therefore has defects that do not allow a good reflection of the image.
