Pair of black Cuboluce bedside lamps by Franco Bettonica and Mario Melocchi (90s)

Pair of Cuboluce bedside lamps by Cini & Nils designed by Franco Bettonica and Mario Melocchi with a special matt black on glossy black checked texture. The two lamps for sale are practically new, with no defects or signs of wear because they have never been used. The special checked design is a Cini&Nils classic and the finish is essential, rigorous and refined. The Cuboluce bedside lamp was created in 1972 from an idea by Franco Bettonica – studio OPI Milano – and the series with matt black on glossy black checked finish was produced in 1995 and is no longer in production. Being two intact vintage lamps, they still have incandescent light bulbs (obviously replaceable with new generation LED bulbs) which are also very rare. The very advantageous price is given by the fact that they are sold without the original red cardboard packaging, printed in two colors of the period. They are sold in their original bag, with the cardboard, all vintage.
