Pair of Casier double-sided lacquered wood storage units by Le Corbusier

Cassina's Casiers cabinets, now out of production, are a rare example of design. They are two cubes measuring 75 x 75 cm, usable on both sides and 81 cm high. Made of lacquered wood, they feature a unique color combination of aqua green, beige/pink and red wood. The first cabinet has shelves on one side and a flap door on the other, while the second has shelves on one side and, on the other, doors that conceal an internal shelf, two drawers and a small additional door. Both pieces are in excellent overall condition, with colors still vivid and attractive. There are slight defects in the lacquer of the wood, visible on one of the shelves and on the edges, but this does not compromise the charm and functionality of the furniture.
