Varamin wool carpet (multicolored)

Varamin is a particular carpet , made in the city of Varamin in Northern Iran, with particularly fascinating decorations. The piece of furniture is characterized by red, orange, ocher, blue backgrounds. It features Minha-Khani motifs characterized by flowers arranged in groups of 4. Medium density knotting, both the fleece and the weft are in wool. This rug is hand knotted and therefore there may be slight differences in shape, thickness and pattern.
