Safari chair set from the original 1960s Hayat Roorkee campaign. The black leather on both chairs has almost no visible signs of wear. The wooden frames, in a beautiful mahogany, are in excellent condition. The tension cables are all in order, all fittings are tight and undamaged. Exceptionally good set. Individual sale possible. The Safari Roorkee chair was developed by the Hayat Brothers in Pakistan for British officials in 1933 and was used on safaris. Out of production.
