Description
This pair of Papavero floor lamps, designed by the famous Italian designers Pier Giacomo and Achille Castiglioni for Flos in the 60s, is an emblematic example of the minimalist and functional design that marked an era. The lamps feature a lampshade in fine Murano glass. The curved steel stem stands above a marble base. These examples, dated to the 70s as can be seen from the foot switch, are in excellent vintage condition. The dimensions vary between the small version, which measures a height of 170 cm and a diameter of 26 cm, and the large version, with a height of 190 cm and a diameter of 37 cm, both featuring a marble base with a diameter of 26 cm.
