Set of 4 Cesca chairs mod. B32 by MDF Italia (catalog code 1001), designed by Marcel Lajos Breuer during his time as a teacher at the Bauhaus school in Dessau. These iconic chairs represent a masterpiece of rationalist design, perfectly balanced between aesthetics and functionality. The chairs are in excellent condition, with no signs of wear: they have only been used occasionally at furniture fairs and subsequently carefully stored away. The frame is in cold-bent chromed steel, with continuous Mannesmann-type tubing that guarantees resistance and lightness. The seat and back are in light beech wood with Vienna straw weaving, a refined combination.
