Description
Set of 5 chairs with a structure made of natural beech, featuring a curved backrest in polished plywood and a seat in die-cast aluminum with natural straw and a central node. The front legs have a square section shape, with a slight flare and curve towards the supports, while the rear legs repeat the same section with a greater thickness in correspondence with the seat structure. An innovative fastening system joins the legs to the rest of the structure via metal joints and screws positioned on the intrados of the seat. The steel elements, with contrasting colors, give further refinement to the design. Designed by Thomas Althaus, a German designer who trained at the University of Düsseldorf and has been active since 1987, this chair represents an example of his rational and creative approach to design.
