Set of 7 dining room chairs "Cattedral 100", designed by Giorgio Cattelan for Cidue in 1971, before the foundation of Cattelan Italia. These chairs represent one of the first experiments in the field of tubular metal and leather furniture design, with a typically Italian artisan quality. The structure is made of black stove-enamelled tubular steel, which gives solidity and modernity to the design, while the seat, padded with a double layer of Tuscan-tanned wine-colored leather, features elegant visible stitching, synonymous with refinement and attention to detail. The set is in excellent condition, with very little used rubber leg caps and minimal signs of age, maintaining the original aesthetic intact. A rare and iconic object, which combines simplicity, elegance and 100% Italian manufacturing, made at the Cidue laboratories in Carrè (Vicenza).
