Isparta rectangular rug in wool and cotton

Carpet from Turkey and in particular from the city of Isparta, hence the name. Medium density Turkish (turkbaff) knotting with cotton weft and soft wool fleece. Production period 90s.

This rug is hand knotted and therefore there may be slight differences in shape, thickness and pattern. This is particularly noticeable in rural and nomadic carpets. The slight imperfections of these hand-made artifacts increase their value and attest to the craftsmanship of the workmanship. Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. Periodic professional cleaning is recommended.
