Venetian chest of drawers in lacquered and gilded wood (20th century)

Italian chest of drawers/dresser from the mid-20th century, made of finely carved, lacquered and gilded wood with Venetian-style floral motifs. Equipped with two large drawers, it offers excellent capacity and functionality. The upper surface, decorated with a refined faux marble painting, shows some signs of aging that testify to its authenticity (see photo). The generous dimensions and the scenographic style make this piece of furniture ideal for furnishing a reception room or a bedroom with character. Despite some small losses of color, the chest of drawers is in good overall condition.
