Description
Rectangular carpet. The first Ardebil masterpiece is currently kept at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. The name takes its name from the Persian city Ardebil, where these artifacts were created which are prized for the variety of designs and bright colors. This hand-knotted carpet has been realized with the Loribaft technique over the years '90. Tight knot density with cotton weft and pure wool and silk fleece.
This rug is hand knotted and therefore there may be slight differences in shape, thickness and pattern. This is particularly noticeable in rural and nomadic carpets. The slight imperfections of these hand-made artifacts increase their value and attest to the craftsmanship of the workmanship.
